Linux: Tails 2.0 - See What's New

Tails 2.0 has been released and announced by The Tails development team, Based on the latest and greatest Debian GNU/Linux 8 (Jessie) operating system and uses GNOME Shell 3.4 desktop environment in classic mode.

Powerd by Linux Kernel 3.16, Tails 2.0 also ships with the latest version of the Tor Browser (5.5) based on Firefox 3.8 and the latest versions of most common applications such as LibreOffice 4.3 office suite, PiTiVi 0.93 video editor, Liferea 1.10 RSS feed reader, Poedit 1.6.10 text editor, and Git 2.1.4
