México: "The Ayotzinapa-Ferguson Connection" & Entrevista in extenso con NTN24 sobre "Decálogo" EPN .. JOHN M. ACKERMAN..

Simultaneous popular uprisings in the United States and Mexico around issues of injustice, inequality, racism and police brutality offer a rare opportunity for African Americans, US Latinos and Mexicans to join forces in the fight for peace and equality in North America. All three of these groups are victims of a system of accumulation and greed which fills its pockets by generating death and violence on both sides of the Rio Grande.

The very same drugs, guns and corruption which are tearing apart the social fabric in the mountains of Guerrero also poison the streets of America´s cities. And the same “politics as usual” in Washington and Mexico City stands by idle as the rebellious, creative spirit of our youth is crushed under the force of state repression.

Both the Ferguson and the Ayotzinapa uprisings are not only about bringing cruel and corrupt cops to justice, but are planting the seeds for the future transformation of social power. If we all work together constructing ever stronger bonds of solidarity, Michael Brown and Julio César Mondragón´s embrace in the afterworld could ignite a spark strong enough to create an opening in history through which to launch a flaming arrow of justice and equality...
